Yoga A Relaxation Method For Better Sleep
I got out of the habit of doing yoga because, work became my main priority in life and at the time it was needed. Reality has come full circle and I realise my health should have always been first. So, as a small step towards looking after myself it’s time to add yoga into my routine again.
Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer.

I was surprised to find that Ollie Ollerton a retired military veteran chooses meditation to start his day. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t that. With years in a combat zone, I guess it only makes sense to find a healthy way to focus and heal before the day ahead. Especially those in the higher echelon of the military, they have to be able to handle whats a head of them. Finding methods of coping, is how its done.
I see yoga as a form of meditation, I’m not into the holistic side of yoga but do understand the concept. I get to sit in the quiet hours of the day before the noice starts. It gives me time to prepare, the calm before the storm as such. My day job is physically demanding so, yoga in the morning is a great way to stretch before work. Theres a lot of heavy lifting, so fitness and flexability go hand and hand. Improving my fitness levels will only improve my ability to do my job. Stretching and shaking out the morning dew should make everything a lot easier in everyday life. I’ll feel better and therefore will be better to be around too.
I find yoga relaxing to do, so adding it to my night time routine makes sense and should combat my sleep problems. Falling asleep will be easier as my muscles are already relaxed and my mind has had time to debrief the day. Over thinking should slowly be chipped away at and eventually be less of an issue.
