Current Health Situation - I’ve Got Fat

The reality of my current health situation is, that I’ve got fat and I hate it. Overeating is now my hobby, I spend all day thinking about what I’m going to eat next. I eat for the sake of eating, I always want to buy more food and I can never have enough sweets throughout the week. My diet has largely devolved into one of convenience, conquered by processed and sugary foods, which only exacerbates the cycle I'm trying to break.

After my day job, I have no thoughts of doing any exercise whatsoever. All I want to do is recover and perform actions that require the least amount of effort. I’m quite happy to crawl into my warm, fluffy hoodie and settle in for a cosy evening. However, the lack of exercise has led to my endurance levels at work to crash quickly which, makes my job harder than it has to be. The heavier I am the slower I work therefore, I’m inconsistent at work.


Mirrors are now my enemy as they display the reality of how much weight I’ve gained. I hate my reflection and that I’m a dress size too large.

Doing the odd bit of exercise every so often won't sustain me. The body is a great example of how well someone is looking after themselves. So, it is time to create a better lifestyle and add exercise to my routine. Get on top of my diet and put more effort into myself. Taking pride in my appearance implies in all things, from what I eat, how I dress and how well I maintain my fitness routine.
